In the current fast paced environment we face, with tons of data and information, it becomes vital to filter and run data analysis in order to communicate, in a timely manner to teams across Diageo, not only what needs attention to accomplish the objectives but what opportunities there are to unleash our portfolio’s full potential.
Purpose of Role:
The Finance Data analyst will match the needs of other business divisions/functions with those in finance to create financial reports and tools so team members can access, in a friendly way, to all financial data/metrics they need to perform their tasks. Also, with these reports and tools, he/she will analyze the data and so bring to the table investment opportunities to become more effective and efficient with it.
Top 3-5 Accountabilities:
- Be responsible of consolidating all financial data (P&L, Sell Out) throughout the S&OP cycle (be the gatekeeper of this information)- Through the tools he/she develops, run analysis to shed some light on key performance areas from customer all up to brand perspective to support decision making- Find opportunities to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness across TS & A&P- Act as an entrepreneur running different and new analysis mixing available information to drive powerful and valuable insights
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or similar field- 1-2 years of experience in finance/data analysis roles- Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with good influential and negotiation skills- Strong analytical, presentation and project management skills- Operational discipline and attention to detail- Proactive, self-motivated, tenacious with constant curiosity (entrepreneur mindset)- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel- Power Bi experience (a plus)- English (80%)

- Constant multifunctional work with key stakeholders in sales, marketing, supply and finance- Develop and provide deep commercial & brand insights about our present and future that will reinforce our planning process and will generate investment efficiencies- Serve as the joint between Commercial and Consumer Finance and through data analysis help them trigger actions to accelerate market performance

Leadership Responsibilities:
- Needs to work closely, be able to influence and build relationships with key stakeholders inside Diageo (Sales, MKT, Supply, Finance)- This role supports the consolidation of financial data, financial reports & tools to work as the one and only source of truth for the market- Ability to recommend changes and interventions to ensure healthy customer/brand performance across the S&OP cycle that translates in a healthy P&L- Develop pragmatic solutions that overcome operational barriers that enables a quick and truthful decision-making process
