**Responsibilities**:
**The Opportunity**

To monitor and reconcile costs in general accounting and in balance sheet in order to provide reports to BU and to management

**Your Impact**

As an **Cntrl & Rpt Assoc Analyst** your responsibilities would consist of:
**1. Statutory Close and USGAAP**
- At the end of the month, manages the appropriate costs reconciliation in order to contribute to final report redaction:

- verifies and certifies accounting data in QAD 2010;
- performs payroll booking reconciliation interacting with HR department, outsourced payroll agency and 3rd party SSC
- prepares COGS monthly accruals (can rebate, metal impact, reclass COGS, PET variance suspension, conai raw material, )
- prepares ADJ in HFM (mark up, FMOH)
- prepares and loads in HFM Dormants’ month end data
- For US GAAP close, supports 3rd party SSC ensuring an accurate month end close.
- For statutory purposes, manages the appropriate cost reconciliation in order to prepare the Statutory Statement for his/her area of competence
- Collaborates on the preparation details for the annual statutory book register (“Libro inventario”)
- Contributes to Year-end identification of permanent and temporary differences between Statutory and Reporting (“Reco civilistica gestionale”)

**2. Fixed Assets**
- Performs Fixed Assets activities in line with internal procedures (Monthly reconciliation of FA expenditure between the 3 systems (QAD, HFM and Global Brain Capital), monitor Fixed Asset expenditure,.. ).
- Creates and monitors in QAD FA budgets.
- Reconciles EAM and QAD FA module.
- Monitors the compliance between internal fixed assets procedure and PepsiCo international policy
- Coordinates fixed assets count with 3rd party
- Ensures SOX Testing in Fixed Assets & MEM Area.
- Acts as GPO for FA Process.

**3. Costs Reconciliation**
- Every AOP/Forecast he/she performs reconciliation between fixed budget provided by sales department and D&A curve submitted.

**4. Balance Sheet Monitoring**
- Monthly monitors balances details prepared by 3rd party SSC of his/her competence area

**5. X-Charges Management**
- Collaborates with local HR and Corporate Tax to put in place new or amended service level agreement for active recharged employees
- Informs 3rd party SSC of org structure changes related to cross-charged employees or FOBO allocation impacting their activities.

**6. SMART Spending Policy**
- Supports Italy Finance Manager on the correct implementation of Smart Spending Policy liaising with HR Department
- Interacts with BIS department to implement any change or new requirement required by Sector in Concur system (T&E tool)
- He/she shares with 3rd party SSC any change on the policy

Qualifications:

- Knowledge of statutory and fiscal aspects
- Diploma in accountancy/Degree in Economics preferably
- Minimum 3+ years progressive experience in Finance (reporting area), better if in a dynamic and changing Multinational FMCG
