**Role at a Glance**

As a Risk and Compliance Specialist with a focus on GRC and IT infosec, you will play a key role in ensuring that Paystand's business dealings are ethically sound and in full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards. You will focus on developing and implementing comprehensive GRC policies and procedures to safeguard Paystand's assets and maintain compliance with evolving regulatory requirements. Additionally, the role will involve managing and mitigating IT infosec risks by identifying, assessing, and prioritizing potential threats, implementing robust security controls, and conducting regular risk assessments to ensure ongoing protection.

**Responsibilities**
- GRC and Risk Management:

- Establish and maintain comprehensive GRC policies and procedures to safeguard Paystand's assets and ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align GRC initiatives with business objectives and risk management strategies.
- Oversee and execute comprehensive risk management strategies, including audits, compliance checks, assessments, security controls, and workload management.
- Collaborate across disciplines and departments for effective risk management.
- Design and implement security and privacy controls.
- Merchant Support and Adhoc Partner Support:

- Provide consistent support to merchants and banking partners.
- Compliance with Certifications and Programs:

- Ensure adherence to PCI DSS, SOC protocols, Privacy regulations, and more.

**Requirements**:

- Experience: 3+ years of experience in IT Security Governance, Risk, and/or IT Compliance. Prior experience in a publicly traded IT organization is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
- Risk Quantification: Ability to quantify risk and translate risks into business terms.
- Infrastructure Security: Familiarity with securing various infrastructure technologies.
- Industry Standards: Knowledge of IT General Control, Data Privacy, ISO27001, NIST, SOC, SAS70, PCI Frameworks (certification preferable).
- Project Management Skills: Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, IT, or related fields.
