The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for providing support to senior technicians in assembling and disassembling mechanical parts, units, etc. Basic knowledge of conventional machinery, lathe, drill, saw.

**Responsibilities**:

- Participate in 6s Excellence Role activities.
- Troubleshoot, operate, install and program HMI panels and devices.
- Troubleshoot and repair valve test equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical failures on furnaces, blowers and fans
- Verify alignment and tolerances of moving parts, test operation of assemblies
- Layout, measure, size, size, bend and install electrical conduit.
- Troubleshoot and program AC/DC drives and motors.
- Effectively troubleshoot relay logic circuits; requires experience with gas train circuits.
- Effectively troubleshoot, size, and install transformers.
- Effectively layout, size, and install piping.
- Troubleshoot and repair processed water systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems
- Troubleshoot and repair injection molding equipment
- Use precision measuring tools, voltmeters, ammeters, and oscilloscopes.
- Troubleshoot ladder diagram problems.
- Troubleshoot machine heating controls, i.e. controllers, heaters, dies and solid state relays.

**Requirements**:

- 3 years maintenance experience and basic knowledge of CNC and conventional machinery.
- Strong electrical knowledge (read, understand electrical drawings)
- Extensive experience in infrastructure maintenance (CFE reading, artesian well reading, repair of showers, plumbing in general, WCs, sinks, water intakes, etc.).
- Knowledge in plant shutdown and start-up vs. fire and emergency, compressor readings.
- Basic mechanical knowledge in conventional machinery (lathes, milling machines, drills).
- Basic knowledge in CNC machinery (axes and coordinates).
- Knowledge and use of hand tools
- Availability to rotate shifts and work Monday through Saturday.

**Preferred knowledge**:

- Pneumatics
- Preventive maintenance/service to welding plants.
