Ndt Technician

- Responsibilities - Review and implement customer requirements; such as: Engineering Drawings, Process Specifications and other industry standards. Develop and maintain processes, test methodology and procedures. Understand manufacturing methods and part construction, as it relates to the NDT data. Operate x-ray equipment; such as: robotic scanners and computed radiography data acquisition systems. Identify and investigate new technologies, processes and/or procedures to maintain or improve NDT capabilities, efficiencies, etc. Interface with engineers, internal & external customers, manufacturing personnel and management to improve processes. Provide guidance, leadership and instruction to other NDT technicians. Integrate improvements to realize benefits in cost, cycle, and customer satisfaction. Performs other assignments and tasks as directed

**Experiência y requisitos**
- Qualifications - 4 years work experience in the NDT method(s) and manufacturing processes as a certified Level 2 is required. Associate Degree of Applied Science in NDT - The classroom training for the applicable test method and level of certification needed must meet the minimum required per NAS-410- Employee must have the skills and formal training needed to become certified to NAS 410, level 2 in the applicable test method, and level 2 in radiography testing (RT) and Fluid Penetrant Inspection (FPI), and be able to pass an annual eye examination per the requirements of NAS 410. Must have a thorough knowledge of NDT theory, methods and procedures, and should have knowledge of NDT technologies, computer systems and conventional and automated testing systems. Must be able to help aerospace engineers troubleshoot particular design issues. They must be able to help evaluate system capabilities, identify problems, formulate the right question, and then find the right answer. Make and keep precise measurements and keep accurate records. Must be able to take instructions and offer advice. The ability to work well with supervising engineers, other technicians and mechanics is essential because technicians interact with people from other divisions, businesses, and customers.
