**Job summary**:
Drive innovation for sustained growth by supporting the Divisional Activity Grid projects with quality execution and speed; efficiently and successfully adapting, validating, and implementing methods; selectively developing or implementing other new analytical methods and technologies for the regions; and continuously providing timely support for the base business and local initiatives to drive the growth. Excel at delivering fundamentals by staying in sync with Quality, Safety, Regulatory and Environmental Affairs and Occupational Health and Safety requirements, and by integrating improvement projects and Corporate Sustainability Strategies in Implementation & Support processes at the GTC. Maintain Funding the Growth as an advantage, identifying and performing timely divisional/regional FTG and simplification programs.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Provide Product Development groups with reliable technical information on stability behavior of new products, chemical properties of experimental and alternative raw materials, as well as potential competitor's formulations, through utilization of analytical instrumentation, integration and interpretation of analytical data, and analytical research.
- Support the Transfer and Product Development Processes and implementation by providing analytical method development, method validation and method and/or technology transfer and laboratory qualification.
- Give method development to analyze new raw materials, experimental formulas, finished products, and driven products.
- Support business strategies of simplification/harmonization through method optimization and simplification; automate analytical methods, applicable to Colgate-Palmolive.
- Coordinate activities between external vendors or supporting labs, to collect technical data, technical reviews, and receive training from outside consultants and product vendors/suppliers.
- Support development of raw and formula specifications.
- Collect and analyze data to draw conclusions and recommend actions to internal and external Product Development, Manufacturing and Global Technology Center partners.
- Maintain accurate, up to date and concise laboratory records and maintain, calibrate and troubleshoot instrumentation.
**Qualitifications and Education**:
- Bachelor's Degree: Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacology or related sciences. (required)
- Master's Degree - MAJOR: Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacology or related sciences (preferred)
- 2-4 Years of Consumer Goods Industry Experience.
- 2-4 Years of Functional Experience.
- 2-4 Years of experience in execution of analytical methods for active ingredients and raw materials, method validation and development of consumer products or pharmaceutical proven experience.
- 2-4 Years of experience in operation, basic maintenance and qualification of analytical instrumentations.
