Role Overview and Responsibilities:
**Introduction**

Under direct supervision is responsible of supporting the quality system, establishing methods and statistical control procedures to manufacturing processes and verifies they are applied according to requirements.

Assures that the internal quality system is followed as indicated. Provide training to manufacturing associated and quality resources on how to keep tracking records generate charts and interpret results.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Coordinates the appropriate monitoring and procedures follow-up of the quality management system.
- Monitors and control processes.
- Verifies the implementation of quality control plans.
- Generate / supports the elaboration of flow diagrams, QCP's and quality alerts when applicable.
- Participates in the review of the manufacturing instructions before undergoing approval.
- Identifies quality issues and corrective actions in conjunction with other functions, Performs product internal audits.
- Define process and product quality audits.
- Coordinates the MRB activities.
- Supports in the certification of operating personnel providing training in the quality systems and process control tools,
- Supervises personnel from the area.
- Participates of the quality planning stages as applicable.
- Generates process controls plans and submit production part approval process to obtain customer approvals form and timely manner.
- Provides support to production supervisors when required.
- Coordination and follow-up to internal and external corrective action implementation when applicable.
- Coordinate the internal calibration system activities.
- Management of discrepant material on process
- Coordinates inspection of test equipment and fixtures.
- Meet the specific requirements, training and activities of applicable quality systems (ISO9001, MIL-STD, etc.)
- Coordinates the root cause analysis and support corrective actions to respond in time to customer complaints or Internal First Time Quality issues.
- Fulfillment and execution in time and form of all the strategies, initiatives, and activities of BE Lean according to roles and responsibilities within your position and areas of responsibility.
- Define and implement effective actions to support strategies and initiatives to improve and prevent lost work days (LWD) due to safety issues, customer quality issues (CQN), Parts Per Million (PPMs), manufacturing costs (MUV), delivery (OTTP) and cost of poor quality (COPQ) metrics.
- The job description does not prevent the supervisor to assign additional, new or temporal activities to improve the business. Neither prevents the employee to participate in new teamwork activities assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:

- Engineering degree
- Leadership, teamwork oriented, analytic, problem solver, positive
- Customer complaints and warrants and problem-solving techniques.
- Manufacturing of electronic products,
- Self-directed
- team supervision
- English: 80%
- Flexible schedule availability

**Desireable Skills and Experience**
- Lean Manufacturing techniques (JIT, SMED, MSA, Six Sigma, etc.)
- ISO9001 Auditor certification
- PPAP's generation, APQP y DOE (preferably), knowledge of quality systems according to ISO9001, MIL-STD or similar when applicable
- Industrial engineer (option to electronics or equivalent in experience)
