**This position reports to**:
Senior Project Engineer

**Your responsibilities**:

- Share appropriate engineering information through open dialogue with other functions in factory and abroad.
- Execute assigned orders to ensure a high degree of accuracy and on time delivery of engineering draw-ings and 3D models of parts and assemblies. Manage workload to provide quick turn around on revise and resubmit requests.
- Define and Create parts and assemblies BOMs for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies, standards and procedures.
- Configure and manage BOMs and its technical specifications to comply with technical, customer, regu-latory and engineering requirements. Suggest design optimization concepts to increase business prof-itability.
- Design parts under manufacturability. fabrication and functional compliance.
- Respond to factory floor requests with a high sense of urgency by meeting with production team on factory floor, driving technical solutions, generating updated models, drawings and/or bill of materials, etc.
- Participate in the investigation of technical problems and the establishment of procedures and correc-tive actions to avoid recurrences.
- Complete on a timely basis all data entry including labor vouchering and required job milestone dates.
- Contribute to lessons learned by capturing mistakes and communicating to responsible parties to drive continuous improvement.
- Embrace Engineering tools to drive efficiency and accuracy by providing feedback and contributing to testing of new tool features.
- Collaborate with upper leadership to create engineering documentation, standards and best practices.
- Plan, execute, and report on the technical design, schedule, and project status of modification assign-ments.
- Demonstrate conformance to Product Technical.
- Specifications and international standards.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for design modifications and present material for tech-nical review including but not limited to tolerance loops, manual and computer analyses, test results, drawings, BOMs, product cost, problem and action lists, risk management, IP analysis, and other re-views.
- Support manufacturing implementation of products through Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and De-sign for Assembly (DA).
- Execute design using solid modeling systems (CREO) modeling, assembly & drafting in the sheet metal module.
- Create mechanical designs using CREO and Windchill CAD tools.
- Perform other local tasks as required.

**Your background**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical-Electrical, Electrical, or any Engineering degree related to design control boards or electrical distribution products.
- 0-1 year of experience on professional product design related areas.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish
- Solid Interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve engineering problems.
