**Salary**: MXN $18,000 - 28,000 Monthly Gross

**Location**: Ciudad de Mexico, Mexico

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare accounting records, including financial statements and other financial reports, to assess accuracy, completeness, in accordance with legal accounting standards and principles
- Reconciles bank statements.
- Ledger Registration and reconciliation
- Researches/Reviews reconciliation discrepancies and resolves findings.
- Processes prepare, and posts journal entries
- Prepares accruals.
- Calculation of Payroll, Payment of Payroll Taxes (ISN, IMSS and infonavit), and fonacot Credits
- Preparation of Tax Returns submitted to SAT (monthly & annual basis)
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure all clients are delighted with our services through timely and effective communication, delivery on deadlines, and stellar accounting support.
- Other activities as required.
- University degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of demonstrated ability to provide detailed level bookkeeping and payroll support
- Excellent problem-solving skills and efficient response to deadlines.
- Motivation to complete workload within a timeframe.
- High sense of confidentiality for the protection of sensitive information.
- Strong analytical skills & attention to detail.
- Must have strong planning, coordination, and organizational skills
- Bilingual
- English/Spanish.
- Strong excel knowledge
- A strong commitment to ethics and demonstration of high integrity.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- 4 years experience in HR or Payroll, consultant or Accounting
- General accounting knowledge.
- Experience in the calculation of taxes: IMSS, ISR, Local Tax, and integration of variable perceptions.
- Strong knowledge of Federal Labor Law and Labor Reform.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented
- Knowledge in CONTPAQi software (accounting, payroll, invoicing).
