Laboratory Analyst.
**Job Responsabilities**:
- Testing raw materials and products - requirements of this position is to learn all test methods and procedures, and be the lead technical expert of all QC release tests, including functional testing such as printing and reflowing.
- Maintaining and improving laboratory test and calibration methods, including coordination of new/improved methods with all other global MacDermid Alpha sites.
- Coordinating R&R studies for all instruments on an annual basis.
- Maintaining all laboratory equipment in good working order (e.g. Viscometers, IR scanners, optical emission spectrophotometer, titrators etc.), including training and advising all other technician on proper use and maintenenance practices.
- Establishing effective procedures and integrated workflow systems aimed at good laboratory practices (ISO/IEC 17025) with the ultimate goal of achieving laboratory excellence.
- Investigating the validity of field product complaints using instrumentation & analytical testing. This responsibility requires learning, coordinating, and using analytical instrumentation located in Alpha Mexico.
- Writing monthly reports to QA management highlighting monthly laboratory activities. Special projects assigned by the QA Manager.
- Identify trends in materials/finished goods that could potentially lead to quality issues.
**Education**:
Bachelor's Degree in Quimical Engineering.
