Accounts Receivable Associate

Kumon is the world's largest after-school program and one of the world's most established franchise businesses.
The Accounts Receivable Associate is responsible for collecting payments and assists the Lead Accounts Receivable in tracking payments, managing banking deposits, and run reports that document profits and losses.
Responsabilities:
- Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables data.
- Prepare sales orders, invoices, and bank deposits.
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all sales invoices and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling customer accounts and monthly customer statements.
- Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting branch managers.
- Generate reports detailing accounts receivable status.
- Understand sales accounts and cost centers.
**Work Experience**
2-4 years of prior work experience, preferably in Accounting or Finance
