**Job Details**
**What you will do? Job Scope & Purpose**:
- The CFS Statutory Analyst acts as the Corporate’s financial expert for the LATAM region. This position is involved in all aspects of general accounting.
- The CFS Statutory Analyst coordinates financial functions in the business units (e.g. BU Controller, Country Controller, Plant Controller) and centralized financial services (e.g. Central Accounting, Shared Services) to all the JCI business units in the region.
- The CFS Statutory Analyst prepares the statutory financial statements and any other local compliance reports accordance with the Local GAAP and applicable tax rules in each country.
- The CFS Statutory Analyst supports the Local GAAP audits. He/she serves as central point of contact for external auditors and local financial authorities.
- The CFS Statutory Analyst supports compliance with local financial statutory and tax regulations (e.g. publishing of reports and documents, requirements for ERP systems). Responsible for accounting and controlling of all non-operational legal entities/ledgers.
- Responsible for documenting variation analysis on periodical basis.
- Perform Account reconciliation for corporate accounts.
- Support to Tax and Transfer pricing department
**How you will do it? Essential Job Responsibilities**:
**Accounting**
- Prepares reporting of Local GAAP results to LATAM Tax Team on a monthly basis
- Prepares and coordinates external audits;
- Prepares statutory financial statements including notes and related minutes on a yearly basis;
- Support plants, shared services centers and central functions regarding accounting/financial issues;
- Determination and booking of adjustments in the Local GAAP;
- Prepares general ledger reconciliations as per SOX responsibility matrix;
- Assists with financial reporting schedules;
- Supports / implements Corporate initiatives;
- Participation in legal entity rationalization or restructuring projects;
- Leading / follow up of issues with BU and shared service centers within the region, primarily those which impact accounting and tax activities;
**Tax**
- Closely cooperation with Corporate Tax colleagues;
- Supports income tax returns and tax audits;
- Compliance with the electronic accounting obligation in a monthly basis
- Support to the Transfer Pricing team
**What we look for? Position Requirements**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance
- At least 2 years auditing experience, as preferred in one of the Big Four worldwide firms
- At least 2 years accounting experience
- Fluent in English
- Excellent communication skills and customer focused approach
- Familiarity with problem solving and process improvement techniques
- Ability to work well independently and work well in a team setting
- Eager to learn.
