As a
**Senior MongoDB DBA **, you'll take the lead in providing technical expertise and support for our MongoDB initiatives and database administration activities. You'll collaborate closely with developers and users to resolve data conflicts and optimize data usage, ensuring seamless performance and reliability across multiple MongoDB database environments.

- Provide technical leadership for MongoDB initiatives, database administration, and maintenance activities
- Work closely with Developers and Users to resolve data conflicts and optimize data usage
- Implement and support HA Clustering for high availability
- Conduct performance analysis using KPIs such as database storage I/O, CPU, Memory, and TPS
- Install, configure, and maintain multiple MongoDB instances
- Handle ETL processes, routine maintenance, and database reporting
- Optimize stored procedures, scripting, and select queries for enhanced performance
- Design and troubleshoot backup/recovery solutions for MongoDB databases
- Plan and execute disaster recovery procedures for database restoration in alternate locations
- Ensure MongoDB database security access and authentication, including LDAP and Active Directory integration

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 3+ years of hands-on experience performing database administration for MongoDB in a highly active setting
- Proficiency in creating, installing, and configuring MongoDB clusters
- Expertise in performance tuning, JSON, BSON, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, horizontal scaling, and the Mongo shell
- Hands-on experience with CRUD, indexing, replication sharding, journaling, authentication, and authorization
- Familiarity with backup/recovery operations and database reporting
- Upper-Intermediate level of spoken and written English (B2 and higher)

NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with AWS services, particularly Elastic Compute, S3, IAM, and MongoDB database hosted on AWS cloud
- Knowledge of Linux configuration and performance tuning
- Familiarity with automation and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, TeamCity, Terraform, CloudFormation, and Python
- Any experience with Atlas or AWS Document DB is a plus
- Basic understanding of JavaScript
