**Our client**:
The largest privately-owned homeowner association management company in the West. Our size enables us to match or exceed all of the resources of the biggest, national companies while retaining the agility and flexibility of a local company. We are able to customize resources easily that will benefit our clients.
The main activities for a** Jr. Accountant** are:
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements to ensure accuracy of information
- Maintain general ledger and journals to include monitoring accounts for discrepancies
- Prepare necessary journal entries
- Reconcile all bank accounts as part of the month-end closing process
- Reconcile and balance accounts payable and accounts receivable monthly
- Provide technical assistance and advice to association managers to ensure a clear understanding of financials being presented to the Board
- Assist with audit process, budget preparation, and provide input regarding improvements to the accounting system.
**Schedule**
Monday to Friday
- Regular Schedule: 10:00 to 19:00 Mexico City time
- Daylight saving: 9:00 to 18:00 Mexico City time

**Requirements**:
- **Excellent communication skills in speaking and writing**:
- 2 years of experience as General Accountant, Staff Accountant. General Ledger.
- Experience with Accrual and Cash accounting.
- Experience with preparing and reviewing budgets.
- Strong understanding of accounting terminology in English.
- Advanced Excel.
