LOCATION- Mexico City, Mexico- STARTING DATE- Next possible starting date- CONTRACT TYPE- Local Contract- DEPARTMENT- Finance - Controlling- WORKING HOURS- Full-time- REFERENCE CODE- 1168- What you can expect- What you can expect- What you can expect - text- Provide support to the economic area of Controlling department of Finance from the Business Unit Mexico regarding to economic and financial evaluations projects and/or assets in Production, Exploration, Development phase, as well as in Acquisitions, in order to identify whether the investments are economic or not, thus quantifying the profitability and possible risks in the Projects of the BU Mexico.
- Develop financial and economic models under different fiscal regime according to Mexican regulation
- Monitoring and updating the KPI's in investment projects.
- Implementation of Risk and Uncertainty Analysis processes.
- Sensitivity analysis.
- Provide support in the evaluation of projects/opportunities based on their technical, financial and commercial feasibility, including the development of the financial model, as well as the verification of their strategic adjustment to the Company's business plan.

- Professional Experience (Required experience in a clearly definable field of activity and total years)
- More than 3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry within the areas of finance, economics or portfolio projects.
- Knowledge of tax regimes and economic models.
- Knowledge of project planning and evaluation.
- Knowledge of the hydrocarbons sector and Mexican regulation.
- Knowledge of the hydrocarbon revenue law and the different contracts from oil rounds.
- Knowledge of hydrocarbon law.
- Knowledge of the FEL (Front End Loading) or VCD methodology.
- Knowledge about the integration and evaluation of Development Plans.
- Knowledge about portfolio integration of petroleum projects.
- Knowledge of the classification of oil reserves and resources, as well as certification processes and reserve audits.
- Knowledge of probability and statistics, as well as risk and uncertainty assessment methods such as Monte Carlo Simulation, Decision Tree analysis, among others.
- Ability to document processes and workflows
- Handling of the Power BI tool
- Advance handling Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
