Job Summary

- will be based in_
- Guadalajara, Norh Campus._
- Responsible for identifies varied sources of commodities and services, evaluates bids, awards contracts and purchase orders, develops standards for new products or services, maintains contact with vendors, and maintains comprehensive descriptions of available products and current prices._

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:

- _ Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability & lead time._
- _ Determines method of procurement such as direct purchase._
- _ Manages supplier to price, delivery method and quality expectations and escalates when appropriate._
- _ May gather quotations, examine bids, negotiate contracts, and make awards._
- _ Maintains procurement records such as items or services purchased & costs per supplier._
- _ Negotiate liability for excess and obsolete materials management._
- _ Monitor and make strategies of materials through the product life cycle, considering price, MOQ, etc._
- _ Interfaces with suppliers and customers to secure both delivery and the best market price._
- _ Makes tactical buying decisions._
- _ Executes corporate sourcing programs and purchasing standards._
- _ Prepares and/or reviews bid requests and negotiates contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority._
- _ Estimates values according to knowledge of market price._
- _ Lead purchase and acquisition of direct material in the new program launches with materials planner & PM support in order to ensure a SOP successful._
- _ Ensure the compliance of Flex policies and initiatives (Purchasing, Trade Compliance, 5S, LPA's, etc.)_

Here is some of what you’ll need (required):

- _ BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience._
- _ Related experience in automotive or manufacturing companies_
- _ English advance (spoken and written)._
- _ Follow-up to internal and external customers_
- _ Excel Advanced_
- _ MS Office_
- _ Knowledge in (ERP- PLEX), INCOTERMS, Customs & Foreign Trade (Inbound & outbound)._
- _ Knowledge in Planning._
- _ Business and legal knowledge._
