**About the job**:
The primary purpose of the PTP Accountant I role is to efficiently execute invoice processing activities and provide reliable, timely, and complete invoice processing, archiving, and documentation for effective accounting and internal control. The role involves sorting and handling incoming invoices, verifying booking information, managing workflow, and continuously pursuing improvements to avoid bottlenecks.

**In your future role PTP Accountant I, you will**:

- Efficiently execute invoice processing tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Handle incoming invoices (both hard
- and soft copies) and manage their accurate filing to support effective accounting and internal control.
- Verify invoice information in the processing system against the invoice and the database, while managing workflow and authorization.
- Submit timely reports to the Invoice Processing Operations team.
- Support the implementation of corporate guidelines/strategies and aim to harmonize processes with other Invoice Processing team members for improved performance.

**We believe you bring**:

- Associate's degree required; Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, economics, etc. preferred.
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Experience using SAP or similar ERPs in an accounting/AP setting.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under deadlines and pressure, particularly during month-end closing.
- Demonstrates a hands-on, punctual, and team-oriented approach.

**Good to know**:
This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, reporting to the PTP Manager at our office in Mexico City, MX.
