**Job Summary**:
**Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)**:

- Soluciones de diseño de firmware y desarrollo en plataformas de controladores LED actuales y de próxima generación
- Integrar e implementar módulos de funcionalidad para productos de controladores LED.
- Dirige varios aspectos del proceso de diseño, incluido, entre otros, el desarrollo del diseño de firmware. Apoyo de nuevos desde el desarrollo de productos hasta la mejora de productos y las actividades de reducción de costos.
- Diseño de firmware en desarrollo de Drivers LED, incluyendo definición de arquitectura del sistema, selección y calificación de partes.
- Trabajar con equipos de firmware locales y extranjeros para guiar y coordinar el esfuerzo de desarrollo de firmware basado en una arquitectura definida
- Analiza los requisitos de firmware para determinar la viabilidad del diseño dentro de las limitaciones de tiempo y costo
- Generación o soporte de documentación de ingeniería incluyendo especificaciones, esquemas, diseños, BOM e informes de calidad.
- Realice todas las pruebas de calificación de firmware para garantizar que los nuevos controladores cumplan con los requisitos eléctricos, térmicos, EMI, mecánicos y ambientales.requisitos
- Participa activamente en reuniones de equipo o las dirige utilizando el sistema de entrega de productos (desarrollo de productos Stage Gate) para cada uno de los principales producto.
- Entrenamiento FW/SW para ingenieros HW.

**Education (minimum education required)**:

- Bachelor of Engineering**Experience (minimum experience required)**:

- 5+ years of writing firmware for embedded systems
- Microcontroller programming skills and experience o 8, 16, 32 bits microcontroller o ARM, AVR, MIPS, 8051, MSP430, etc
- High Level Programming skills on C, C++, assembler, Visual Basic - Strong working knowledge in embedded architectures, such as ARM, PIC, Freescale, Renesas, etc.
- Knowledge and experience on electronic circuits & simulation o Power supplies (desirable)
- Knowledge on new products test and qualifications
- Experience on new product validation
- UL/CSA certification process (desirable)
- PCB design knowledge (desirable)
- Excellent debugging skills
- Solid understanding of communication protocols o UART, SPI, I2C, USB, Ethernet o DALI, DMX, Wireless
- Project Management (MS Project o similar) o Strong documentation and organizational skills o APQP knowledge SKILLS:
