Planner/buyer (Imports Coordinator)

**Position Summary**

Plans finished products stock, considering inventory level goals and Customer Service metrics established for the current fiscal year. Actively expedites materials with the Parker locations all around the world, assuring on time delivery to our customers. Follows up with carriers, forwarders and custom brokers to receive materials on time.

**Responsibilities**

Update the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) tool to stablish the necessary safety stock levels in a monthly basis.

Plan and maintain inventories in accordance with the policies established by the company for the current fiscal year.

Send purchase orders to our different Parker suppliers.

Follow up and expedite orders to ensure on time delivery to our customers.

Special follow up to fulfill orders of our OEM customers.

Important to do team work with other team members.

Actively participate in High Performance Teams and Kaizen events to improve work productivity.

Maintain daily contact with our suppliers and forwarders to prioritize shipments.

**Qualifications**

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor degree in Administration, Business, International Trade, Industrial Engineer or similar
- Level of English: Bilingual
- 3 years as Planner/Buyer
- Knowledge of Kanban (desirable)
- Knowledge of High Performance Teams (desirable)
- Knowledge of Problem Solving Techniques (desirable)
- Knowledge in MRP & MPS (desirable)
- Knowledge in JDEdwards and Inventory Control (desirable)
- Knowledge in Excel
- Knowledge in trade compliance (desirable)
