**WHAT YOU'LL DO**:
Join us on a journey to transform our Finance organization. Future Finance is a multi-year program to evolve the Finance function for the BCG of the future: a BCG that continues to grow, and one that has become more complex, more diverse and more interdependent. By continuously rethinking structures and standardizing processes across geographies and business entities, we are making it simpler and more efficient to work together across our global business. As part of Mexico Finance team, you will support our Finance Operations and Accounting function in several areas including Mexico Expense Report (ER) process, Accounts Payable and Record to Report as follow.

**YOU'RE GOOD AT**:** Expense reports (ER)**:

- Main point of contact for Mexico ER related queries. Coordinate and liaise with Global Finance Operations Team (GFOS) and local finance team on resolving transactions according to Mexico policy and statutory compliance (Mex e-accounting).
- Effective collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure the highest user satisfaction.
- Coordinate weekly expense reimbursement process, from Audit to archiving, ensure accurate accounting of expense reimbursement invoices and corresponding journal entries are interfaced in a timely manner.
- Work with IT/finance system’s team to investigate and resolve system issues and reconciling difference while performing reconciliations.
- Partner with Finance team to conduct reporting and trend analysis. Holistic review of ER cycle, to identify opportunities for improvement and implement recommendations.

**Accounts Payable and Record to Report**:

- Understanding of accounting concepts in conjunction with knowledge of financial systems, data flow, chart of accounts & mappings
- Manage invoice approval platform, vendor invoices recording and validation of correct accounting in General Ledger, including payment, supplements, and vendors information data updates.
- Monthly credit cards reconciliation process, collect required information for proper accounting and coding in system.
- Perform monthly accounting transactions, including accurate recording of month-end accruals, AR & WIP reconciliation, FX revaluation, GL journal entries, and other financial activities in compliance with Mexican accounting practices and BCG internal reporting.
- Ensure that all assigned balance sheet and expense accounts are reconciled, balanced, and maintained in accordance with company procedures.
- Strong internal controls by maintaining backups/schedules supporting accounting transactions. Adhere to the internal compliance policy and guideline established by the management on their daily operational activities
- Monthly VAT informative report, for expense lines related to ER and AP transactions.
- Support Financial Audit requests.
- Complete ad hoc requests and perform other duties as needed.

**YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, with experience and strong interest in accounting concepts.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, reporting and query management.
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
- Experience with Excel—ability to design, enhance, and maintain spreadsheets and databases.
- Willingness to provide a wide range of financial services from routine tasks to financial management data.
- Demonstrates sound judgment, high level of initiative and resourcefulness and orientation towards service. Flexibility, comfort, and desire to dig in and work through the details.
- Ability to solve practical problems, to work effectively in a deadline-oriented environment, Comfort with prioritizing within a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative style.
- Oracle experience a plus (GL and AP) and other comparable ERP systems experience preferred.
