Summary
The Wellness Director is in charge of the Spa team, which consists of therapists, attendants, and a Supervisor. This leader establishes treatment protocols for spa treatments and massage therapies, conducts professional training, creates budgets, manages the Spa menu, and leads by example. In addition, manage the Apothecary, Yoga Salon, Pool, Gym, reception desk, and locker room areas. Administrative duties are not limited to payroll, team schedules, and inventory, amongst others. Strives to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize the department's financial performance. Maintain operating criteria/spa concepts and be responsible for the coordination and scheduling of all Spa & fitness related services in relation to consistency with policies, philosophy and objectives for the Spa.
**Qualifications**:
- Creative problem-solving skills is a must.
- Extensive knowledge of spa services and operating procedures
- Extensive knowledge of luxury spa products including skin care lines, nail care, massage oils, and spa/fitness clothing.
- Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language is required.
- Well organized and demonstrated strong problem solving skills.
- Effective leadership, supervisory, and management skills.
- Budgeting and analytical skills.
