MAIN PURPOSE:
A new law in Mexico puts in place advertising restrictions for food products with (nutrition) warning labels will result in the need for pre-market advertising permits for all types of advertising TV, Print, Internet, social media from 07 March 2023. All IC product advertising will need permits from March, as will many Nutrition dressings. From 1st of Oct’23 virtually the whole N&I portfolio will need advertising permits, as stricter nutritional guidelines will kick in.

Our dynamic advertising plans in N&I require an efficient process to ensure compliance with the new requirements captured in this law.

The AADM is responsible to deliver the requirements of the new Mexican advertising law so that all advertising can still be executed in line with brand plans. The AADM will be working with internal and external Unilever partners to ensure full compliance at lowest costs.

Location: Bosques, CDMX

Main Accountabilities:

- Lead internal and external teams on advertisement permit process, setting the priorities/workplans for the resources involved;
- Assess compliance and guard the quality of the dossiers, ensuring timely submission and approval of dossiers;
- Provide feedback to the team ( e.g cost impacts, if OTIF approvals are at risk); identify opportunities to maximize dossiers impact/coverage
- Manage the communication with the Authorities (answering questions, getting clarifications, share additional data where needed, chase & expedite approvals etc)

- Fluent in English, Spanish and ideally Portuguese
