**Responsibilities**
- You are responsible for building our Design strategy and making sure that it is implemented correctly.
- You are obsessed with our customer's needs therefore you work closely with the Research and Customer Experience teams to understand how our user interacts with our products.
- You are responsible for defining and achieving personal business goals that contribute to the company's overall goals.
- You are an inspiring leader that can create a high performing team that can achieve the main KPI's and OKR's you set for them.
- You understand product and business needs and can translate them into design solutions that are feasible to build. You understand tech limitations and can help the team design solutions around them.
- You make decisions based on data and challenge your team to do so as well.
- You will supervise product design proposal's and make sure the Design System is correctly implemented.
- You will work with multifunctional teams, leading design projects for the different stakeholders.
- You coach Product Designers and give regular feedback so that they can achieve their responsibilities and professional goals.
- You receive a prioritized product backlog and define how to organize the team and allocate resources.
- You work closely with the Design Strategy and Ops team to define and manage strategic initiatives that improve the design team efficiency and work dynamics.
- You own and facilitate meetings to drive progress against objectives and set clear next steps and owners, while resolving roadblocks for the team.
- You have an eye on the market and can challenge our business and design strategy based on what you see and learn from benchmarking and user knowledge.
- You are proactive in assessing risks and problem solving as well as communicating them to the organization in time.
- You manage a design budget and source and manage vendors and contracts.
- Communicate persuasively to the right audience to get buy-in and feedback.
- You will define your organizational structure in order to be able to support business needs and strategic priorities.

**Skills and Experience Needed**
- Even though you have a vast experience, you are humble enough to acknowledge that you don ́t know it all and are still willing to learn.
- You are extremely analytical and have vast experience using data to identify problems and make design decisions based on deep data analysis using Analytics tools such as Amplitude Analytics and Google Analytics.
- You have proven experience leading and working with Product Design, Content Design and Research teams, in regulated industries.
- You have experience managing vendors and contractors.
- You have excellent verbal and written English. You have strong communication skills, are clear and concise and are comfortable speaking in public.
- You have demonstrated understanding of agile methodologies, product design, content design, human centered and user experience design as well as software systems.
- You have experience with project management tools and agile methodologies tools such as JIRA and Confluence and design tools such as Figma and Miro.
- You have an agile mindset and help your team to think small and impact big by working with MVP's.
- You can work cross-functionally while building trustworthy relationships that influence teams to achieve common goals.
- You are empathic and a team player. You acknowledge that the process can be challenging but you always look for it to be fun... if not, why bother.
- You can work under pressure under uncertain circumstances and take individual ownership of challenges while also leading a team.
