System Administrator

_**Grupo ESIT**_ specializes in providing **on-site IT services** _**(Santa Catarina, N.L.) **_to a diverse range of clients. Currently, we have an exciting opportunity for a talented **System Administrator** to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the IT infrastructure of our clients' physical locations. Your expertise will ensure smooth operations, timely troubleshooting, and proactive system maintenance. - **Working days**:Monday through Friday
- **Working Hours**:8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (To be determined)

**Responsibilities**:

- Choose and purchase, rent necessary accounting equipment for newcomers, and fulfill current employee requests.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions.
- Maintain personal equipment, including laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, printers, phones.
- Support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments.
- Communications with external contractors (Internet Service provider, Office equipment rental company, etc.)
- Positively implement company policies, and demonstrate good work ethics.

**Requirements**:

- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required.
- Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols.
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
- Strong knowledge of office equipment.

**English - Intermediate -** Fluency in English and strong communication skills, is a crucial requirement for this role.

**Nice to Haves**
- System administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network-related fields are a plus
- Working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills
