The Project Manager acts as the entrepreneur in large automotive projects. The accountability starts with the acquisition phase and concludes with end of production. As Project Manager you are heading a large project team, which includes all disciplines required for a professional execution. As such, you will be responsible for the overall project success in terms of Quality, Timing and Profitability

**AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY / TASKS**
- Participate in / Lead of the quotation team.
- Coordinate collection of main stakeholder requirements
- Consolidate development costs/budget with R&D
- Setup initial overall Project Timing
- Define project objectives (financial, scheduling and quality goals)
- Align project (core) team members in conjunction with the line management.
- Establish adequate project organization (meeting/ communication structure, information/ knowledge exchange, documentation, archiving)
- Setup an initial project plan (phases, deliverables, milestones/ Q-Gates, etc.)
- Ensure compliance to valid processes incl. legal requirements.
- Setup of project master schedule and action item list
- Track the project progress, initiate corrective measures if deviating from the plan
- Control the usage of the released project budget and project resources.
- Maintain project plan, project master schedule, action item list and project status report.
- Perform milestone/gate reviews and conduct discipline reviews.
- Perform communication management for regular exchange of information and to drive decisions needed.
- Perform opportunity & risk assessment, change management and problem resolution management.

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE**
- Engineering Degree
- Advanced communication skills in English
- 10 years in automotive industry, experience as TPL, Manufacturing experience, Engineering development experience
- Demonstrates a good grasp of knowledge and principles of field of specialization and applies through successful completion of assignments
- Demonstrates the ability to learn, good oral and written communication and organization skills.
- Has worked in global teams, experience working with team members in ABH, Rgb, Timisoara.
