- This position is responsible for installing and maintaining of all electrical equipment, components and systems in the Company’s facilities.

**Essential functions**
- Install and maintain electrical equipment to include, but limited to, motors, generators, air conditioning, alarm system, MCC and SCR unit, etc.
- Troubleshoot equipment as needed. Test circuit connections using proper electrical test equipment.
- Build and install electrical distribution panes, alarm systems, etc. Install, calibrates and maintains gas detection equipment.
- Coordinate with SCR/VFD Electrician on the repair and refurbishment of equipment. Support the HSE objective of no injuries, accidents or harm to the environment as it relates to equipment.
- Abide by Company policies and procedures. Other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Ensure that personal behaviors and work practices are in line with Company safety standards.
- Responsible for safety of self and others in the vicinity to include, but not limited to, employees, vendors and guests.
- Provide visible leadership engagement, be aware of housekeeping and take additional safety precautions to ensure no one is put at risk.
- Do not take short cuts or unnecessary risks and actively work with others to ensure they take due care and do not put themselves or others at risk.
- Ensure all incidents are reported and appropriately investigated in accordance with Company procedure.
- As needed, seek advice from HSE representative.

**Qualifications** Necessary qualifications, skills and abilities**
- A High School diploma is required.
- Should have at least 3 years of work experience in maintaining electrical equipment.
- Must possess and maintain all the current certifications and licenses necessary to safely perform the primary functions of the job as required by the appropriate regulatory authorities.
- Must have valid driver’s license.
- SCR training certificate is preferred.
- Must possess basic mathematical skills. Must be a detail oriented, self-starter and able to work with little supervision while maintaining goals/tasks.
- Must have good PC skills to include all MS Office products.
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills and able to effectively communicate with staff, management, customers and vendors.
- Being multi-lingual is preferred.
- Must be able/willing to travel nationally and internationally. Must possess sound reasoning skills and have the ability to follow directions.

- Ability to walk on uneven ground (gravel, rocks, mounds, ice)
- Ability to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and/or ramps while carrying tools requiring a reasonable degree of physical stamina and agility and involving moderate to severe physical exertion
