Major Tasks:
Develop, adopt and implement necessary best practices or techniques for haploid seed production.

Assure a correct and successful isolation of all sets to be plant and monitoring the fields to identify potential contamination.

Coordinate and supervise planting, detasseling, field management and harvest activities in ICB.

Planning the laboratory and field operation process interacting with planners and DH sorting coordinator to ensure a streamline doubling process.

Coordinate and supervise plantings, pollination, harvest and shelling process.

Expected to drive process improvement through the development, adopting and implementation of new and innovative technology, protocol and processes.

Oversees work for Research Associate and Field Technicians; seasonal staff ranging from 200 250 people during pick period.

Accountable for greenhouses, lab, machinery and equipment management and maintenance. Ensure full compliance with SSHE, administrative policies, practices and procedures.

Develop people and maintain highly engaged the team.

**Skills**:Master degree in Plant Genetics, Molecular Biology or Plant Physiology. (Desirable).

Breeding experience; or BS in Agronomy with 3 years agricultural research experience.

People management experience 3 Strong communication skills (English & Spanish).

Advance Competencies in network and relationship.
