Job Summary
- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a_ Sr. Process Engineer_ located in Guadalajara, North Campus._
- Reporting to the Tooling Manager, this role involves being in charge for process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements in order to hold up a manufacturing organization._

What a typical day looks like:

- _ Recognize the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques and the product._
- _ Define, implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability._
- _ Have the capability to singly or with other engineering stakeholders identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process._
- _ Understand the manufacturing SMT & Wave solder processes._
- _ Implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability._
- _ Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production._
- _ Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible process parameters_
- _ Develop, implement and take ownership of process control methodologies._
- _ Trouble shoot process related issues._
- _ Participate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements._
- _ Interface with production of all activities associated with new process implementation and transfer._
- _ Assist in the development of training and provide training to production personnel during new technology transfer._
- _ Provide equipment maintenance and repair hold up as required._
- _ Guide cost _improvement/reduction_ programs._
- The experience we are looking to add to our team:_
- _ BA/BS degree._
- _ Strong Knowledge in metals industry._
- _ Strong knowledge in FANUC robots_
- _ Strong knowledge in PLC programming such as: Siemens, Allen
- Bradley, Mitsubishi._
- _ Knowledge in Fixture Designs._
- _ Advanced English._
- _ Leadership_
- _ Problem Solving_
- _ CAD software knowledge._
- _ ERP software knowledge._
- _ Lean Manufacturing certification is a plus_
