**Title**: CAE/MRB Engineer - Structural Analysis
**Primary Location**: Mexico (MX) - Nuevo León JD Shared Svcs-Monterrey
**Function**: Engineering (CA)

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Close communication with Design and Testing Engineers to develop and execute analysis and/or test plans for Product Verification and Validation.
- Analyzes John Deere products CAE/Stress activities and determines CAE/Stress model specifications and acceptance criteria to be met.
- Compiles and furnishes necessary information (engineering decisions and reports of pertinent design analyses data) to share results and concussions and further documentation of the assigned activities.
- Applies knowledge of company products, policies, and best practices to drive the improvement and standardization of CAE practices for John Deere products.
- Provides mentoring and guidance to less experienced engineers in the team.

**What Skills You Need**:

- Finite Element Method industry experience (3+ years).
- Technical experience related to structural analysis of components/systems (3+ years).
- Experience with Altair Suite/ANSYS/ABAQUS. (3+ years).
- Knowledge on correlation processes between physical test and virtual analysis (3+ years).
- Strong English communications skills (written and spoken).

- Knowledge of the Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP), Enterprise Technology Development process (ETPD) and/or Enterprise Customer Acquisition Process (ECAP).
- Proven strong collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Experience with John Deere engineering tools, systems, and databases.
- Proven mentoring skills to colleagues or to the less experienced.
- Knowledge on PV&V testing and instrumentation.
- Master’s Degree in Structural Mechanics or similar.

**Education**:

- Degree in a Mechanical Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
