**Job Description**:
**S&S Sourcing Specialists Manager Job Description**

S&S Sourcing Specialists Manager is the leader of the S&S center of excellence (COE) that is responsible for planning, overseeing, and leading value chain projects, critical escalations, design for supply chain initiatives, and process development. This requires managing a team that will be interacting with a range of internal and external stakeholders, most often managing several moving project parts simultaneously. S&S Sourcing Specialists Manager is also expected to lead projects with internal and external stakeholders. This position requires strong leadership and time management skills to coordinate to lead team members while executing projects and providing support.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage the coordination of activities of a department with responsibility for results, including costs, methods and staffing.
- Determine and define project scope and objectives; Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plans; Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
- Manage contracts service levels with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables. Function as point of contact for critical escalations.
- Work directly with supply chain and engineering resources to deploy DFSC methodology, preferred parts usage, material substitutions, and other tactics to lower TCO and TOCT.
- Interpret commodity and spend analysis to create action plans for cost, terms, service, and lead-time.
- Support materials and risk, compliance, and regulatory audits.

**Qualifications**
- 5 Years of management experience in supply chain (Materials, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Logistics)
- Bachelor’s degree: Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Knowledgeable in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Exposure to supplier service management.
- Presentation skills, experience communicating projects, results, and issues to leadership teams.

- Makes data driven decisions, acquires data and information needed to support decisions if not available to include conducting pilots as needed.
- Demonstrates agility in approach and methodology to reach objectives.
- Ability to plan on an annual timeline.
- Ability to effectively influence employees, peers, stakeholders, and leadership.
- Capacity to manage high stress situations.
- Ability to lead and motivate other people.
- Accepts positive and constructive feedback in a manner the promotes performance and improvement.

- Is capable of being self-directed, requires mínimal oversight to reach objectives, holds self-accountable to milestones, objectives, and agreements.

**Role Expectations**
- Travel, domestic and international, may be required periodically to accomplish objectives and support global projects as needed.
- Working hours may vary in order accomplish objectives and provide needed support. Mornings, nights, weekend work may be periodically required to support global projects across time zones.
- Will be willing to work remotely as required.
