**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
**Position Summary**:
The Operational Procurement Facilitator will working Supplier planners and the Operational support team. In order to help communicate supplier delivery commitments and ensure that the Bendix productions team has the necessary levels of inventory to ensure adherence to daily production commitments. Also to update and provide solutions to KPI’s in red status to ensure the proper actions are taken to prevent line down at production and with the customers.

**Essential Functions**:

- Lead daily powerbase meetings & update supplier shortage report (POV1)
- Expedite critical raw material with operations/planning team
- Provide supplier shipment plans to Customer Excellence Representatives, as requested
- Update daily reports as instructed by your supervisor.
- Utilize the required tracking tools to provide short and mid-term visibility of supplier shortages.
- Aid with generating internal process and material deviations for movement of raw material via interplant or due to imports.
- Facilitate obtaining required approvals for Internal proves and material deviations.
- Submit and follow up on claims send to 3PL, due to material damaged due to carrier miss handling or due to material being lost in transit.
- Run and update H1P reports related to customer critical.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis and define permanent corrective actions to resolve order supplier late delivery performance.
- Knows and communicates the need for product safety.
- The employee has the authority to stop the production line, when he/she notices that the product has a quality problem or defect.
- Support PSA Activities and procedures with team members
- Perform all those activities that by the nature of the position are required.

**Management & Supervisory Responsibilities**:

- Reports to Supplier Planning Supervisor
- Job **is** **NOT directly** responsible for managing other employees. Co-ops or students may report to this position.

**Knowledge**:
Knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration, effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of Account Management experience
- Automotive or related industry preferred

**Skills**:

- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure with strong emotional intelligence skills to properly manage conflict
- Team player with the ability to work independently with mínimal guidance
