**About the role**

**Key Responsibilities**:
As a Design Eng (Factory Support), you’ll be responsible for:
**Design and Development**:

- Develop and enhance designs for HVAC products, including components and systems.
- Perform detailed technical analyses to ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and reliability.
- Resolve complex design issues, identifying root causes and proposing innovative solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, such as diagrams, specifications, and user manuals.

**Technical Support**:

- Provide technical support to production, installation, and service teams.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC unit malfunctions during testing.
- Implement improvements in manufacturing and assembly processes.

**Analysis and Optimization**:

- Conduct cost-benefit analyses for new designs and modifications.
- Optimize existing designs to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

**Project Management**:

- Participate in new product development projects from inception to production.
- Coordinate with various teams (engineering, production, quality) to ensure project objectives are met.

**Requirements**:
As a minimum you must have:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC design and development.
- Solid understanding of refrigeration systems, thermodynamics, and heat transfer principles.
- Proficiency in CAD software (PTC Creo or similar).
- Mastery of electrical diagrams and ability to troubleshoot HVAC units.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001).
- Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) software.
- Familiarity with international HVAC industry standards.
