The Cash & Trade Proc Fnc Mgr. is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department in an effort to support clients in the opening/closing of cash accounts, movement of funds, intra-day funds management and compliance in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team.The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of high volume cash management and transaction services.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Strategic Leadership of the combined Client Operations function for MEXICO.
- Manage 463 processes governed by 1456 ARCMs.
- Operational activities in 174 systems.
- Critical programs include and not limited to deliver Mexico Divestiture, ISO20022, Trade migration to CSF, Spring Mexico & Electronic banking migrations.
- Participate in defining global strategic solutions for the Client Operations function that reflect the objectives of TTS and are appropriately tailored and fit for purpose within MEXICO Country.
- Build strong and effective relationships with key regional partners in TTS Sales, Product and Technology organisations.
- Through a comprehensive right placement strategy ensure work is completed at the appropriate risk, regulatory, cost and quality profile.
- Evaluate and adjust work output provided by Citi’s extended workforce partners, including role value measurement & negotiation.
- Accountable for establishing and regularly testing the effectiveness of the risk and control disciplines for all processes.
- Accountable for enhancing the risk and control environment for processes in line with the changing business and regulatory environment.
- Key contact for regulators to cover our operational activities and control environment.
- Create a technology roadmap that maximises the impact of investment dollars towards operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Develop senior leaders to support future growth plans and fill critical operating roles.
- Create and maintain strong team effectiveness strategies focused on core skill building and performance management.
- Execute a communication plan to engage with the MEXICO workforce that provides transparency of execution and encourages participation and collaboration.
- Monitor the competitive landscape within the industry. Predict trends in client requirements and competitor’s solutions and strategies.
- Collaborate with peer region heads to ensure appropriate levels of commonality are achieved and best practice is shared and adopted
- Collaborate with readiness team to ensure Client Operations are well prepared for any product or market level changes as it impacts TTS OPS.
- Represent Client Operations in the new product development lifecycle for the different Line of businesses.
- Manage multiple major processes, including Trade and Cash or Payment Processing, operational accounting, reconciliation, proofing, etc.
- Oversee quality reviews, end results, budget, policy formulation and planning and significant contribution to future strategy of Cash and Trade Operations
- Manage client transaction reporting, including new product introductions, statement migrations, branding, legal disclaimers, etc.
- Develop a vibrant talent pool and pipeline, ensuring skill sets and competencies align to the current and future organizational requirements

**Qualifications**

Operations Management

Finance or Degree in Business

related discipline

Advanced degree preferred

**Knowledge/ experience**:
15+ years of experience in a related role

Significant experience in Financial Services.

Demonstrated skills in integrating large operations.

Proven ability to establish and maintain business partnerships and client relationships.

Experience analysing client requirements and developing suitable, cost-effective solutions.

Experience in performing complex problem solving and business trade off decision analysis.

Experience of work in a process driven environment.

Highly organised with strong program management skills.

Demonstrated people leadership / management.

Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment.
