**About the role**
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented FP&A SR (Financial Planning & Analysis Senior) to join our dynamic team. As an FP&A SR, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial planning and analysis activities of the company. You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting financial data, preparing reports and presentations, and supporting the development of financial forecasts and budgets. You will also partner with cross-functional teams to gain insights into business operations and identify opportunities for improvement.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Prepares forecasts and performs financial modeling to develop recommendations to management.
- Reviews financial reports, P&L, balance sheet, cash flows and statistical analysis for accuracy.
- Operationally support the Residential Fire business to conduct financial analysis, research, budgets, and forecasts to support short-term business goals and decisions.
- Provides reports to functional or operational management on financial analysis results and recommendations.
- Reviews current processes and highlights opportunities for efficiency and process improvement.
- Audits financial practices to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations, laws, and standards.
- Advises on operations finance activities, such as programs, pricing, sales, and supply chain.
- Conducts medium to large-scale projects. Builds analytical models to perform complex analyses.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis
- Excellent financial modeling and spreadsheet skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial software
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to travel frequently/as needed"
