Contracts Specialist Lawyer
- Roles and Responsibilities - Analyze offers, proposals, customer order acceptances, and contracts, ensuring compliance with local laws and internal company policies. - Support the development of business policies, procedures, and other rules and guidelines for sales to private customers, with the support of partners and business leaders in México and Latin America. - Support the sales processes to private customers, facilitating communication between customers and business areas. - Review commercial offers and private contracts, ensuring that all (legal) requirements are met and sales conditions are fulfilled. - Conduct risk analysis of sales processes to private customers. - Support the "GO/NO GO" decision analysis to authorize participation in the sales process based on risk analysis. - Advise, analyze, and propose alternatives to resolve controversial situations arising from sales processes. - Maintain communication with other areas of the company to ensure timely updates and follow-up on sales processes to private customers. - Assist in other necessary tasks to fulfill the requirements of the department and the company's different businesses. - Coordinate initiatives and projects with other members of the legal department team in other Latin American countries, always seeking improvement opportunities and innovative approaches. - Co-lead sales-related training for private customers in Brazil, together with the sales team and Compliance.
- Minimum Basic Requirements: - Extensive knowledge of private supply contracts, commercial representation, distribution, leasing, loan for use, confidentiality, among others. - Experience in similar positions in multinational companies. - Bilingual: Spanish and English (advanced level).
- Educational Experience: - Professional with an academic degree in law eligible to practice in Brazil. - At least 6 years of proven work experience in similar positions in the medical devices industry or multinational or transnational companies.
- Skills and/or Competencies: - Ability to plan, prioritize, assess risks, and analyze, as well as issue reports and contractual guidance related to different businesses. - Strong leadership, interpersonal, and respect for confidentiality, organization, and colleagues. - Ability to work in a multicultural and international environment. - Strategic thinking to drive change, cooperate at all levels, engage internal customers, and support decisions regarding bidding processes in which the company decides to participate. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to work in an agile and demanding environment and meet deadlines set by the departments. - Ability to handle/manage tasks and delivery deadlines with multidisciplinary teams. - Ability to analyze and identify potential risks for the company, as well as propose and/or define action plans or process improvements under their responsibility. - Integrity, intensity, innovation, and involvement. - Professionalism and accountability for the work performed. - Ability to conduct meetings in English and Portuguese languages
