About the Role:
Perform all the Capex projects with deep financial analysis.
Provide visibility of the key assumptions for each Capex project to the Senior Financial Business Partner and to the Financial Director.
Coordinate monthly Capex portfolio meetings to the Financial Director. Forge strong relationship with engineering, procurement, and operations teams.
Follow up the projects' status from the initial proposal to the correct capitalization. Improve Capex projects approvals process and implement new reports/processes to facilitate decision making.
Follow up any special Capex project in a monthly basis as well as participate in any special task team to achieve results.
Implement Post-projects evaluations.
Helps to build a high-performance team leading with example. In conjunction with the Sr Finance Business Partner, drives standardization & simplification across the Capex process.
Drives a continues improving process across Finance Capex projects.
Experience required/Skills/Capabilities/Languages:
A Financial Projects Analyst should:
- Have at least 3 years of experience in Financial Planning focused on Capex Projects.- Develop and manage Ad hoc finance analysis.- Have strong finance knowledge (P&L & Balance Sheet).- Have strong knowledge in WACC, IRR, ROI, Payback and NPV.- Be hands-on and a professional with the attitude to build and improve processes.- Have SAP knowledge.- Expert in excel.- Shape the future: Developing ambitious plans and bringing clarity to others, analysing data to arrive at core messages, trying new ways and challenges complacency and complexity.- Win through execution: Setting the bar high for themselves, stepping up and taking accountability, being tenacious and working effectively at speed.- Inspire through purpose: looking for opportunities for themselves and others to learn and amplifying Diageo´s purpose through their own actions. Collaborate with other departments, teams and shared services.- Bilingual: English and Spanish
