We are seeking a talented and driven Assembly (Industrial) Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in Santa Catarina, México. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our production operations, designing, implementing, and optimizing assembly processes to ensure efficiency and maintain the highest quality standards. Your expertise will be crucial in solving complex manufacturing challenges and collaborating across departments to drive continuous improvement. Please note that this position will from our office in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León, México.
- **Areas of Responsibility**:
- Process Design & Implementation: Develop and improve assembly processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure product quality.
- Layout Design: Design assembly line layouts and workstations to maximize productivity and ergonomics.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure manufacturability and optimal process flow.
- Time & Motion Studies: Conduct time and motion studies to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Training & Support: Train and support assembly line workers on new processes and equipment.
- Continuous Improvement: Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve production issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- KPI Monitoring: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
- New Product Introductions: Participate in cross-functional teams to support new product introductions (NPI) and ensure smooth transitions from development to production.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the manufacturing environment.**Physical Demands**:

- Travel: 0-10%**Desired Traits, Qualifications, Education and Experience Equivalency**:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in an assembly process engineering role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and familiarity with manufacturing software systems (e.g., ERP, MES).
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Spanish and English; with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and process optimization.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.**Certifications**:
- Preferred/Minimum Qualifications: Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt), or related areas.
- Automation & Robotics: Experience with automation and robotics in manufacturing processes.
- Quality Management Systems: Familiarity with ISO and other quality management systems.**Desired Traits**:
