Sr Accountant

: This position is responsible for the local accounting according MEXGAAP, billing, travel expenses review, federal taxes calculation and analysis for a segment of the company’s Client projects. This position will report to the Regional Accounting Manager and will interact with Project Managers on a regular basis.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE**:

- Entry of daily journal entries, collections, and payments in the 3 entities in LATAM.
- Entry of accruals, depreciation and amortization.
- Bank reconciliations and accounting accounts.
- Scheduling of accounts payable and review of travel expenses.
- Determinate federal taxes such as Income Tax, VAT Tax, taxes on payroll and Social Security.
- Supporting Project Accountants with budget maintenance.
- Researching sales tax information and coordinating sales tax audits, as needed.
- Reconciling corporate AmEx purchases.
- Responsible for monthly account reconciliations as assigned, for intercompany transactions.
- Responsible to generate TSA projects and renewal billings.
- Other projects/assignments as necessary.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting
- 4+ years of accounting experience
- Strong comprehension of accounting theory
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work effectively in a high growth environment and rapidly changing organization
- Detail orientation and organized in work
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management and problem solving skills
- Ability to meet assigned deadlines
- Ability to perform essential functions of the job

**DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Language: intermediate level of English.
