**Technical Advisor**
- We are looking for a Technical Advisor to join our Contract Management team located in Mexicali & San Luis Rio Colorado - MX, the position is open for relocalization.**As a**
**Technical Advisor, you will focus on the following responsibilities**:
- Provide the right technical advice to the customer to the best of knowledge and based on corporate guidelines, and technical bulletin, and guarantee asset performance agreement signed in order to ensure customer satisfaction and to reach set contractual quality, financial, cost, and time targets.
- Provide advice on routine maintenance and minor and corrective scheduled maintenance to be carried out in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturer's manuals and Prudent Industry Practices.
- Provide periodic training to customer staff on the different issues associated with the operation and maintenance of the power plant in coordination with the Client.
- Advise and accompany the Client's personnel in the intervention of emergent corrective maintenance when necessary to achieve restoration of the power plant.
- Be part of the maintenance team for minor maintenance and support to Wärtsilä FS team in the execution of major overhauls.
- Maintain continuous, efficient, and timely communication with your immediate boss about the performance of consulting tasks.
- Report to Line Manager any problem or situation that puts the business relationship with the client at risk.
- Follow all legal requirements applicable to Wärtsilä business.
- Follow all customer safety, health, and environmental regulations at the power plant.**To be successful in this role, we expect you to have**:
- Bachelor degree. in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical or related field.)
- Minimum of 6 years experience in Field service and/or contract management delivery with Wartsila products.
- Experience with gas engines is an asset.
- Strong leadership, communication skills & interpersonal skills.
