**Industrial Engineer - Material Flow Strategy**:

- Saltillo,Coahuila- Full Time- Job Description
- A Material Flow Engineer in the automotive industry is responsible for optimizing the movement of materials throughout the manufacturing process. a Material Flow Engineer will have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, logistics, supply chain management, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential. Additionally, familiarity with industry-specific software and technologies related to material handling and logistics optimization is highly beneficial.
- Specifications- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial / Manufacturing Engineering
- 3-6 years of work experience in relevant area or function
- Should have experience in Material Flow Strategy.

Roles & Responsibilities- Station Readiness/Install

a. 100% of stations fully operational and bought off according to the production intent plan (see General Section)
- b. Work to identify, design, and implement Minimal Material Handling (MMH) and Low Cost Automation (LCA)
- c. Ensure that CAD drawings are up to date and representative of floor walks and POR- Data

a. Maintain and ensure all relevant Station Readiness Data in PFEP is up to date.
- b. Daily maintenance of all Open issue lists, WPI/ELM Checklists, PFEP data, Kaizen Journal, Timeline, Checklist, Issue Lists, Lessons Learned, Best Practices, etc.
- KSA- For station changes during production and not down time the Lead will work with production members and their team leaders to make sure that the installations or changes are understood and accepted prior to, during and after the changes are made.
- Organizational
- Experience in team-based environment.
- Knowledge of supply chain dynamics, including procurement, inventory management, transportation logistics, and distribution networks within the automotive industry.
- Proficiency in process mapping techniques to visually represent material flow, coupled with analytical skills to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data related to material flow, using statistical tools and modeling techniques to forecast demand, optimize inventory levels, and streamline processes.
- Familiarity with automation technologies, warehouse management systems (WMS), RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification), and other advanced tools to enhance material handling and tracking.
- strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teams across different departments (production, logistics, procurement) to align material flow strategies with production schedules and goals.
- Capacity to identify challenges within material flow, propose innovative solutions, and make informed decisions to improve processes and mitigate disruptions.
- Commitment to continuous improvement by implementing feedback mechanisms, conducting regular evaluations, and seeking opportunities to enhance material flow efficiency.
- Understanding of industry regulations, compliance standards, and risk management practices to ensure material flow strategies adhere to legal requirements and mitigate potential risks.
- Basic project management abilities to plan, execute, and monitor material flow improvement initiatives, adhering to timelines and resource allocations.
