Overview:
We are seeking a full-time **International Trade Compliance (ITC) Analyst** in our Garmin Chile location. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support in the areas of International Trade Compliance (Product Certifications) in this operational position. Resume must be submitted in English.

**Responsibilities**:
**Essential Functions**
- Liaise with Garmin’s Corporate Engineering/International Trade Compliance Departments and Customs brokers & local certification agencies to ensure all Garmin Product Certifications required to legally import products into Mexico are obtained in a timely/efficient manner and remain current
- Proactively follow changes in current/future legislation and advise organization of coming changes including potential impact and/or opportunities related to Product Certifications (NOMS)
- Maintain/manage a register of all product certifications (new, expiring or no longer needed certifications, etc.) and actively coordinate all necessary/timely actions required to keep Certifications current
- Follow up/control all administrative functions related to certification process (Product samples for testing, costs, payments, taxes, contract/renewals with labs (NYCE, ANCE, IFT), labeling requirements, etc.)
- Act as liaison between customers and members of other departments within Garmin for all activities related to Product Certification

Qualifications:
**Basic Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in International Trade or other related field **OR** a minimum of 4 years total equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Demonstrates proficient knowledge in customs valuation, rules of origin, and trade agreements in Mexico
- Demonstrates proficient working knowledge and experience with Customs laws and regulations in country where position is located
- Demonstrates proficient knowledge of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and Explanatory Notes
- Demonstrates ability to determine the proper classification of electronic goods
- Demonstrates proficient communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) in **English**:

- Self-starter with the ability to work independently to meet or exceed deadlines, prioritize, multi-task and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Demonstrates proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel and Access

**Desired Qualifications**
- Experience in imports, exports, or international trade
- Proficiency in Oracle
