**Position Summary**:

- Manage the day to day operations of a Software Development Team
- Mentoring and training for Software development teams.
- Ensures quality of development by closely monitoring programming standards are being adhered to by staff.
- Researches and designs solutions to issues reported by the business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Development Duties as required; ensures production systems are adequately monitored for performance issues, scheduling and recovery.
- Ensures quality of development by closely monitoring programming standards are being adhered to by staff - including coding standards, change process and documentation.
- Meet with Users to discuss problems and negotiate prioritization of problems based on financial impact to the business and alignment with strategic direction

**Skills and Requirements**:

- Level of formal education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent
- Area of study: Computer Science
- Years of experience: Five to seven years.
- Type of experience: Project management, personnel management, data engineering, software development
- Special certifications or technical skills: Java, Proficient with Relational Database Technologies and SQL, Version Control.
- Other/preferred: Cloud Services, ETL Technologies.
- Able to fluently communicate verbally in English and Spanish
