Objective: To direct, promote and coordinate the operations of the business in a manner that will optimise the Company’s savings, improve efficiency, and help achieve the Company’s goals.

**_ Main Duties:_**
- Implement the strategy defined by Management and communicate to the entire team
- Communicate to the manager all the aspects that may have an impact on the business unit
- Always promote a cooperative and professional image of the company, coordinate customers and supplier visits
- Ensure that the production plan is drawn up and implemented on time
- Ensure that there are materials in quantity and quality for the execution of the production plan
- Collaborate with production to implement and develop new production methods to improve efficiencies
- Ensure quality control of the products so that they leave the factory with excellent quality
- Continuous review of quality assurance system processes and procedures
- Ensure LEAN Methodology is maintained.
- Ensure production/quality processes are maintained.
- Manage logístical challenges and make changes to ensure strategically sound

operations
- Work with the Senior Leadership Team on new commercial projects and Company strategies
- Ensure all functions meet the profit and cash objectives of the business as set out in the annual budget
- Contribute to the development and efficiency of the business
- Oversee implementation of processes and associated documentation to ensure

safe and efficient working practices in all areas of responsibility, through use of Standard Operating Procedures
- Hold monthly Company update meetings

**_ Experience and Requirements:_**
- Degree in engineering or manufacturing related field, Operation Management MBA desirable
- A minimum of 10+ years’ experience in operational management and business administration (previous experience in a metal or glass industry a plus)
- Significant experience of Production Planning & Scheduling, Procurement, and material requirement planning
- Qualifications or demonstrable experience in LEAN Manufacturing (Lean Six Sigma)
- Ability to define Company strategies
- Significant manufacturing leadership experience
- Experience of ISO 9001: 2008 or a similar Quality Management System
- Ability to build and develop a team
- Strong problem-solving skills - ability to develop a solution
- Highly motivated, excellent communicator
- Strong organization and administration skills
- Willingness to learn, improve and adapt with business needs
- Ability to work under pressure to strict timelines
