In this role, you will be heading a team in the Electrification Distribution Solutions business, in Apodaca, N.L, driving efficient and cost-effective production results to meet requirements, specifications and targets by coordinating and plant equipment, personnel and production processes. Reporting to the Manufacturing Unit Manager you will aid in the transformation of parts and raw materials into ABB products in a timely and cost-effective manner, developing programs, projects, goals, and metrics to help the organization achieve the highest level of operational performance.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Preparing annual production budgets, overseeing progress, and identifying actions to mitigate risk, remaining within budget and resource constraints.
- Identifying deficiencies and proposing improvements, and implementing actions to improve production performance, integrating lean manufacturing methodology into production.
- Implementing ABB’s process improvement methodology (4Q Program) training and methods.
- Overseeing manufacturing subcontracts and managing subcontractors with other functions, including Procurement & Logistics.
- Working with HR Management to ensure that the Production Lines are properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.
- Guiding, motivating and developing less-experienced team members to reach their potential.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental directives, implementing regulations, and monitoring and reporting progress and results.

**Your background**:

- A Bachelor´s degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
- 8+ years of experience in the Manufacturing Environment, working as Production leader, or similar role.
- Demonstrated experience working on a production line. (Supervisory experience is an advantage.).
- Knowledge of LEAN methodologies, SAP and Excel.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills.
- English speaking.
