**Tooling Analyst - Specialist**

**Objective of the position**:
Manage all supplier related activities with product group and technology expertise.

Leading the development of the supplier base with regards to tooling management.

Supporting the development of the supplier base in regards to tooling management.

Support of tooling management for direct buy volumes from the concept phase to the finished tool with the pre requisite of a constant maturity level increase within the defined project timing.

**Principal activities**:

- Act as internal and external contact person within his/her own area of expertise; cooperate in internal working groups.
- Generation of internal publications (e.g. documentation, etc.) and at times presentations.
- Support in the definition and optimization of internal standards and processes within his/her own area of expertise (e.g. adaptation and redevelopment of product group/technology-specific methods).
- Active and continuous development of experience and knowledge within the commodity regarding tool management.
- Support the strategic supplier selection processes through supplier evaluations from the point of view of tool management.
- Supporting suppliers with for simulation requirements/evaluation (based on functional specification).
- Accompany tool progress tracking including timeline tracking and assessment of the maturity level of the tool/process on site at the supplier as required, definition and tracking of measures.

**Requirements**:
**Professional career**:
BD Engineering or equivalent technical experience in tooling / processes.

Relevant experience: 3-5 years in production processes, mold flow analysis and CAD Interpretation.

English advanced.
