Maintenance Supervisor, your future Position?

In this role, you will be part of Givaudan Fragrance & Beauty business. Your main goal will be to plan, organize and implement necessary activities to support manufacturing strategies and participate in the definition, development, submission and implementation of capital improvements for building utility or manufacturing processes and associated equipment. You will be focused on Instrumentation & Control equipment as well as in electrical installation and equipment.

**Your key responsibilities will be**:
Strategy design and execution
Provide input to the local Maintenance plan and related objectives with regards to e.g. production capacity, schedule of critical maintenance activities, changes in equipment, spare parts inventory, etc.
Execute functional strategies locally through deployment of operational plans.

Function management
Lead a team of maintenance specialists which executes Instrumentation & Control engineering and maintenance, as well as electrical installation/equipment maintenance activities.
Provide input to the definition of maintenance budgets based on maintenance requirements i.e. resources, materials, duration, etc.
Conduct audits/inspections to ensure compliance of Instrumentation & Control and Electrical installations and equipment as well as users with EHS and QM policies.
Identify, recommend and deploy improvements whether to correct non-compliant situations or optimize productivity.
Optimize stock of spare parts and disposal of obsolete materials.
Coordinate work of suppliers, monitor their performance and escalate issues to the E&M management and Procurement for resolution.
Provide support to engineering projects in terms of operative procedures and equipment/installation trials.

People management
Oversee the execution of annual human resources processes for the local Maintenance team and validate related results.
Work with local Operations and E&M management teams and HR Business Partner(s) in developing a local talent pipeline for the function.
Drive the development and promotion of talents within and outside the function.

The position will be based in our Fragrance & Beauty manufacturing facilities located at Pedro Escobedo, Querétaro, México.

**Your professional profile includes**:
Engineering degree preferred (pre-university level acceptable).
Plant Engineering or Maintenance certification preferred.
At least 8 years of experience in manufacturing or plant operations, preferably in the chemicals industry.
Solid expertise in Instruments & Control engineering and maintenance.
Sound knowledge of electrical installation, its engineering and maintenance.
Knowledge of DeltaV protocol.
Knowledge of Engine Control Modules.
Knowledge of both cooling and heating systems.
Knowledge of automation.
At least 3 years of experience in people management.
Intermediate level of English.
Experience in industrialization and engineering projects with focus on testing activities.
Basics in stakeholder management and communications.
Good knowledge of process mapping and design.
Good knowledge of EHS rules and guidelines.
Basics of financial concepts (e.g. OPEX, CAPEX) and tools (e.g. SAP).
