**About the Role**:
The Product Manager will be primarily involved in two projects in Mexico: The Strive Mexico Resilience Learning Network and FinnSalud. The Strive Mexico Resilience Learning Network is designed around three programmatic pillars, which make up the network:

- the Resilience Product Accelerator
- the Resilience Lab and the
- the Resilience Measurement tool.

These three pillars will generate knowledge and data through resilience measurement and direct learning from the proposed activities that will engage several relevant partner institutions.

FinnSalud aims to incorporate financial health (FH) in the core activities of financial institutions through the development of pathways for clients in their journey toward financial resilience. These pathways will result from rolling out the FH survey developed by BFA Global, in conjunction with working alongside financial institutions to surpass death valleys in deploying the survey, gathering insights from the data collected, and designing FH- enhancing F products, services and tools.

**What you’ll do**:
In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders to develop a product’s vision and concept. Take the lead of scrum teams, defining the product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities and communicating with stakeholders throughout the project. Work with internal and external contacts to analyze needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals. Work closely with product management/business teams to create and maintain a product backlog according to project needs.

**Qualifications**:

- At least three years of experience as a product owner in the financial services industry,
- College degree in an area relevant to our work (business, economics, finance, technology, or related fields)
- Understanding of business value around features/functions
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with a distributed team across several countries
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, startup environment, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to complete tasks promptly while balancing several assignments with inputs from multiple team members.
- Must be fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken).

Any of the following will be considered a plus:

- Previous experience interacting and working with financial institutions and tech startups in our regions of focus (Mexico)
- Familiarity with financial inclusion, financial health and digital financial services for low-income populations, economic development or social business sector.
- Project management experience, preferably in financial services projects.
- Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
