Senior Middleware Consultant

About the job:
What you will do:

- Provide guidance to consultants with less experience in order to achieve set goals
- Help with the implementation of different projects on the scope
- Address the middleware development, focusing on microservices and APIs
- Develop effective and efficient solutions that provide desired performance
- Coordinate the workflow among middleware development teams, users, and yourself
- Analyze and fix existing code base to address new requirements

What you will bring:

- 3+ years of experience working as a middleware consultant
- Experience with microservices environments
- Experience working in networking for telco
- Experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform configuration, implementation, and support
- Experience managing APIs, especially Red Hat 3scale API Management
- Experience with software containers and implementing them
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Observer
- Experience with Java’s Spring Framework, Quarkus and Spring Boot
- Knowledge of the Screen Saver and Apache Camel frameworks or an equivalent
- Availability to travel from 25% up to 50% of the time, following Red Hat’s COVID-19 guidelines
- Upper intermediate-advanced verbal, written, and reading language skills in English
- Ability to work in a high-performance and fast-paced environment

The following are considered a plus:

- Experience with OpenShift virtualization
- Knowledge of 4G and 5G technology
- Knowledge of Cloud-native Network Function (CNF) testing
