The Corporate Graphic Designer follows and strengthens the ZF brand, supports key business initiatives in North America and select activities in other global markets, and demonstrates fundament knowledge of design elements and principles. The Graphic Designer will be part of the ZF North America Communications Team and work closely with the Marketing Communications Manager, supporting efforts with print, web, media and other platforms. As Graphic Designer, he/she must have 3-5 years of experience working in the field.

**Responsibilities**:

- Engaged in art direction and graphic design across all communication platforms
- Follow branding guidelines and standards for cohesive branding across all design elements
- Work with Marketing Communications Manager to ensure designs align with branding and marketing strategies
- Execute projects based on direction of Marketing Communications Manager and other key stakeholders
- See all projects through from planning, concept, design, production and delivery of high-quality design by using various software
- Perform media manipulation; photography and videography, editing, compiling and executing in multiple channels; including digital advertising, sales and marketing collateral and social media
- Be impactful with creative marketing efforts around company goals and objectives
- Keep alignment of current designs and cultural trends
- Learn new creative tools and strategies frequently to elevate designs in order to stay above industry trends and keep ZF brand at the forefront of the market(s)
- Work directly with the other members of the ZF Marketing and Communications team daily
- Assist with filing and other clerical duties as needed
- Continuously drive product and process improvements

**Qualifications**:

- Highly motivated, continually presenting new ideas and best practices
- Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design or related field
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Fluent in English
- Collaborative with strong partnering skills and ability to prioritize multiple competing demands
- Strong portfolio demonstrating skill in visual design, typography, and composition (Photography, animation and video experience a plus)
- Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print and web
- Expert in Adobe Creative Cloud programs (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop; others such as Dreamweaver, Premier Pro and After Effects a plus)
- Familiarity with animations and video as well as HTML and CSS preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software
- Roll-up-your-sleeves approach with a willingness to take on “non-role-specific” marketing duties as needed to support the team and business
- High level of creativity
- Strong attention to detail and typography skills
- Good understanding of print process
- Strong analytical skills
- Clear communicator, both verbally and visually
- Strong understanding of web technologies as they relate to creative concept development and design
