Production Superintendant

Eaton’s ES CRDS COMM Commercial division is currently seeking a Production Superintendant.

**What you’ll do**:
**PRIMARY FUNCTION**

Lead all production activities for the Vehicle Controls and Sensor Business Unit (VCSBU), located in Juarez, Mexico. Interface closely with all manufacturing support functions, including Manufacturing Engineering, Customer Service, Production Planning, Materials Management, and Quality Engineering.

- Define, track, and report key business measures for the Area Assigned.
- Manage and direct all production activities.
- Prepare short term and long term business plans.
- Actively support the marketing/sales and product development plans for Juarez VCSBU.
- Actively promote the development and deployment of improved manufacturing process that positively impact quality, productivity, profitability, and market share.
- Assure that the Juarez VCSBU embraces the Eaton Business System (EBS). Lead Juarez VCSBU, through continuous improvement, to higher levels of performance with the Eaton Quality System (EQS) and the Eaton Lean Six-Sigma (ELSS) business tools.
- Assure that the Juarez VCSBU provides a safe working environment for all employees and facilitate MESH initiatives.
- Provide direct leadership to Juarez VCSBU Lean Coordinator. Actively sponsor all lean deployment activities.
- Follow up and Report Cost Control Projects
- Follow up and Report all Cost Out Projects

LI-MG1**Qualifications**:
**SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE**
- Must have a thorough understanding of world class manufacturing techniques and US and Mexican business practices and customs.
- Must have an overall understanding of the technical capabilities and characteristics of the Juarez VCSBU products.
- Must have a BS degree in Engineering or Business
- At least 5 years’ experience in a closely related industry.

- Estandarizar los procesos, tiers y sistemas de administración visual
- Planeación, organización, ejecución y control de cada uno de los proyectos asignados por el VSM
- Validar y aprobar estudios de tiempos, así como los métodos de trabajo de operaciones complicadas
- Revisar el cálculo de capacidad de áreas productivas y proponer con la operación acciones para mejorarlas
